What happened?
The worst ice storm I’ve lived through. Still possible problems due to strong winds tonight which could take out tree limbs weakened by ice that could come crashing down and take out power lines.
I so hope you guys are OK. I remember an ice storm like that in the 1990s in New York State when my parents were still alive.
We are OK in our little piece of OK. Thanks for the concern. The newspaper this morning reported still over 200,000 without power around the state. The yard looks like hell. But no one is in the hospital and no one has perished in our household.
We just went through hurricane Zeta. Just got up. Will have to assess the damages. I think climate change might be real.
Climate change is real. The only argument is how much is caused by people vs natural cycles. I am in the natural cycles camp and believe humans have made the situation worse.
