Spring Roll Dipping Sauce https://thewoksoflife.com/spring-roll-dipping-sauce/ For new readers an electronic sticky note is a reminder and pointer to recipes from other websites that one day I might try. So when the bots come back (see The Recipes in This Blog Are Being Stolen by AI) they’ll be stealing someone else’s copyrighted material.
I know it’s AI because my recipes can’t be this good!
Unsavory Truth: How Food Companies Skew the Science of What We Eat. In that book, I review research on the “funding effect,” the strong correlations between who pays for food and nutrition research and its outcome. Very interesting. I keep saying high schools should be teaching basic life skills, not just English, history, science, and math. Bring back shop and home ec. Include banking investing, insurance, credit, things like that. Also some basic life skills such as how to change a flat tire, how to hang a ceiling fan, how to sew on a button, how to cook some basic meals, how to take care of a house and yard etc.
I actually took shop and home economics in HS and similar courses in college. Try to find a young person today who has taken similar courses. At least with the sheltering in place people are cooking more!
I can so relate. So many young people have absolutely no survival skills. They live their lives on their phones.
And are unable to function without a phone.
