I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.

I had my annual wellness visit earlier this week.

All of my other labs were normal too.
I have multiple relatives who have lived well into their 90’s. My maternal grandmother lived to 100. I’m going to need another source of retirement income. And for all of my friends and colleagues who never thought I would make it this far…

Everything looks great!
My income is going to continue as long as I live, unless I keep on buying cars. A friend of mine said I’m having a midlife crisis. But I think it’s like a later life crisis.
I just renewed my USAA homeowners insurance. I got tired of checking out all the different options. It was simpler just to stick with them. At least I know a good lawyer now. And I can spend my time looking at rare Volvos to invest in. First I may need to buy another house to store them.
As long as this administration and future administrations continue to print money and fund social security we’ll be just fine too. We have a bit of investments and a smaller joint life annuity corporate pension. Totaled two life time income streams and the nest egg.
Sometimes it’s perfectly fine to stick with who you know even if they occasionally piss you off. And it’s always good to know a good lawyer.
Many years ago we owned a Volvo 850 wagon. Classic shoe-box design and we loved it. Happy Volvo hunting!
The 850s are still being used as daily haulers. It is a great car. I have the 850R sedan. The vehicle I’m looking at is a wagon that was made as a limited edition. Only 3000 made in the entire world. And according to the Internet there are only 162 in the United States now. I have found one in California and one in Florida that really appeal to me. I would go ahead if I had an easy place to keep it. I don’t have room in my driveway. I do have a neighbor who does not have a car anymore. I may ask him about renting space. But I have a feeling his garage is filled from floor to ceiling with boxes from his military career.
Ah but perhaps the notion of a monthly income stream merely for clearing out the space would entice him to rent you the garage.
Oops I made a typo. That should be only 62 left in the USA.
That’s not many of the model you covet. Definitely good numbers for a future collectible.
That’s what I thought. And perhaps it would be motivation for Jim. I’ll have to get him at a good time. He is very quirky. Severe severe PTSD from Vietnam.
