I think this is good news. But his statement that we cannot boost our way out of the pandemic is of some concern.

Do you see insurance companies adding surcharges to premiums of people who are unvaccinated? They are certainly costing the system a lot of money.
I speak only for the life side but I see no surcharges applied to the premiums of people who are unvaccinated. Health insurance is a different animal and while I don’t suspect anything nefarious in the works I would expect higher premium rates for EVERYONE in the future to cover what undoubtedly will be much higher treatment costs, expenses and claims experience.
I sure as hell don’t like paying for other people’s obstinacy.
