I read someplace to combat the negative effects of prolonged sitting to take a break every 30 minutes and do two minutes of brisk walking along with 15 chair squats.
I take frequent walk breaks but no squats.
I try to do that little burst of exercise, and also focus my eyes in the distance to relax the muscles in my lens.
I rarely suffer from screen induced eye strain because I also focus my eyes on a distant object to relax my eye muscles. Quite effective.
How often do you focus your eyes on a distant object? I suffer from eyestrain a lot. And any tips you have I’d appreciate.
I’ve never counted but my educated guess is about 2-3 times an hour. I tend to daydream and peer outside my office window.
